About Cortney

I truly enjoy caring for seniors because the work itself and the opportunity to be there for seniors and to put their needs as a priority has always allowed me to end the day knowing my day was filled by caring for another person and that feeling has always made this work so much more than a job to me because I have learned more from those I have cared for than anything they can learn from me so it's truly considered more of a blessing than anything and I'm grateful for each opportunity I'm given to help others. My skills include patience in order to allow any senior I work with to use all independence they have regardless of the time it takes them, I adapt well in this type of career. Everyone is different but my patience, compassion, and dedication to helping anyone remains the same. The only thing I would change is what I need to do to in order to assist them properly and understand them more personally in order to ensure they feel comfortable with my help.
