About Corrine Alexis

Hello Families! I'm an instructional aid with LBUSD, working in TK/kinder classrooms during the school year, and a proud mom to an 11-year-old. I have experience as a Rec Aide for the district, have volunteered extensively at my son's elementary school and previously worked with the boys and girls club summer program . I hold an associates degree from LBCC and I'm currently working toward my early childhood education certificate. I am CPR/First Aid trained, fully vaccinated, and carry a certificate of clearance from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. I am positive, playful, compassionate, and I enjoy sharing my love of reading, science, learning, crafting and art. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and maintaining consistency. I'm happy to help with homework and/or tutoring when needed. I can speak some Spanish at a basic level. My goal is always to create an environment where children feel comfortable, curious and cared for.
