Hi! I am seeking a special family that I can pour my heart into once my current contract is finished Sept 3. I have many years of experience in a variety of settings including nannying, babysitting, daycare, summer camp, and teaching in Montessori, homeschool co-ops, and in a Reggio Emilia nature school. I specialize in infant + toddler care, but I love kids of all ages! I utilize my talents, experience, and natural abilities to help children to thrive in a loving environment especially through creative expression and time in nature. I enjoy finding new ways to foster a sustainable love of learning and to help this generation grow to become caring, conscious, independent adults. A child at heart, I easily relate to children, and compassionately hold space for them to feel safe, loved, seen and understood. Corinne has been a part of our family for the past year and I cannot recommend her enough! She was our full time nanny from when our daughter was 1.5-2.5 years old. I am so grateful for the love and devotion she gave to our family-- she truly looked after my daughter as if she was her own. We trusted Corinne completely and felt that our daughter was safe with her. She took our daughter to activities like story time at the library, parks, nature walks/ adventures and to the pool. She came up with developmentally appropriate and creative projects and activities for the kids all the time. Activities varied and they would do stuff like bake muffins, make play dough, paint and even collect tadpoles on a hike. Corinne has a Montessori background and was happy to follow any rules and practices I asked. Corinne homeschools her daughter L, who is a treasure and an absolute delight to be around. At first I was a little concerned she would be distracted with her own daughter, but L was basically a bonus older sister for my daughter. They loved each other so much and their bond was so special, plus I think my daughter learned a lot from her! We will miss having both Corinne and L around every day, but they will be friends for life.
