I have over 45 years experience in geriatric, hospice and working with individuals with developmental challenges and numerous medical issues. I started working at Lakeshore Nursing Home (now Shorewinds) in 1976 at age 16. I have raised 4 children of my own and have 2 grandchildren. I am patient, positive, upbeat, devoted, kind, very knowledgeable about dementia/Alzheimer's and understanding. My own mother just recently passed at 95 years old in late January. She lived with my brother, but I contributed a great deal to her personal care, being her only daughter in Rochester. I worked for Eastman Kodak, Lifetime Assistance and Finger Lakes DDSO. I would care for your family member as I did my own mother.
