Hi, I'm Corinne. I've been caring for individuals with special needs since I was 16 years old. I started as an after school nanny for a boy who has autism, and quickly realized how rewarding it was for me to work in this area. I became very involved in volunteer work with group homes, and even got my school counselor to help me create a class for credit to assist some of the special needs students at my school with a dance class every other day. I've worked in an elementary school in Provo as a para educator, and worked with six different special needs classrooms and would rotate and go in and teach a lesson while the teachers had their planning period. I've worked with medically fragile classes to high functioning classes and have continued volunteering with various organizations working with individuals with special needs. I'm pursuing my degree in special education and find it extremely rewarding to teach, care for and positively influence individuals of all stages and ages.
