I have a loving and empathetic spirit with a passion for the well-being of people of all ages and their pets. Among the adults and children I have cared for, I acquired specialized skills for the following disabilities: * Quadriplegic man (two years live in care) * Trained behavioral aid for an autistic child (two years live in nanny) * Seniors with dementia * Care for severely multiple handicapped children both in a private home, as well as for both Placer and Nevada County school districts. I have training to use a Hoyer lift, tube feeding, and COPD care. I am comfortable with bathing and changing adult diapers. I am a certified massage therapist and can incorporate massage and other healing modalities such as joint mobilization and muscle strengthening. I can also help out with other duties, such as: housecleaning, pet care, household organizing and laundry.
