As a visual artist who works from home, I have a flexible schedule. I value fostering independence & providing compassionate, respectful assistance. I enjoy building meaningful relationships & creating a supportive, positive environment for those in my care. I'm a former elementary teacher & activities director with extensive experience in elder care, specializing in dementia & Alzheimer's. I've worked in assisted living, supported individuals with developmental disabilities, & served as guardian for my disabled sister. I'm skilled in advocacy at doctor's appointments, med management, & assisting in daily living activities such as feeding, hygiene, showering. I also have hospice experience. Caring for the elderly, disabled, & vulnerable is deeply important to me. It's an honor to make a substantial difference in the lives of others. I have a clean background, driving record, reliable transportation, & love homes with pets
