I have twelve years past experience on a volunteer basis working with the elderly in three nursing home settings leading music and inspirational times. I also served as editor of Bonell Good Samaritan in-house newsletter for 1.5 years in Greeley, CO and over the course of that time, interviewed 25 residents for my "Resident Profile" column (1982-83). I love the elderly and value them as precious. I also shared full-time care giving for my parents for five years with my brother until their deaths a couple years ago. I did this while working a full-time job 4 of those 5 years. I prepared meals, performed light housekeeping and non-medical companionship and errands/shopping, etc.
