About Constanza

During my time at a nursing home, I had the opportunity to participate in various care and recreational activities, which allowed me to acquire valuable skills and better understand the needs of older adults. I participated in organizing recreational activities, such as board games, crafts, and light exercises. These activities not only promoted socialization among the residents but also helpec maintain their mobility and mental agility. Observing the joy on their faces while they had fun was a rewarding experience that motivated me to continue getting involved in the care of older adults. I also learned to recognize signs of discomfort or sadness in the residents. Sometimes, they just needed someone to listen to them. Being present and offering a safe space for them to share their thoughts and feelings was a fundamental part of my role.
