Hi there! I am a caring, reliable, and creative college graduate passionate about developing meaningful relationships that support the lives and independence of people with disabilities. I have 4+ years of experience working as a personal care attendant supporting disabled people with life tasks, connecting to community, and reaching their goals. I have worked with consumers in multiple life areas. This has included supporting ADLs, mobility needs, and communication, etc. during school, at job and volunteer placements, in the community, and at home. I also did a summer internship at Perkins School for the Blind working in their physical education and after school programs. Additionally, I am proficient working with augmentative and alternative communication users and have been trained by a speech language pathologist to program AAC devices.
