I went to University of Utah studying special education with a concentration in severe disabilities. I love hanging out with kids and have had a lot of experience with them. I have volunteered every summer for the past 7 years at a camp for kids with special needs and have experience watching multiple kids and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, down syndrome and behavioral issues. I also was an aide in my high schools' life skills class and am an assistant teacher in social skills classes for people with autism. In addition I have been a caregiver for multiple families of kids with various disabilities. I've worked with all ages of people with disabilities from 3-50 years old. Most recently I taught at a high school in a special education classroom for students with significant disabilities most of who used AAC devices.
