I have cared for children for most of my life because I love them! I was a babysitter & a camp counselor. I hold a MA Degree in Elem. Ed., & I took care of children during each school day as a 1st grade teacher for 5 years and as a K-6 grade teacher in P. E. for two years. I have five children of my own & coordinated a church nursery. I have often taken care of my two grandsons, 11 & 16, since they were born. Recently, I have taught in preschools. I am certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED. So, although I am prepared for emergencies, I use the best and safest childcare practices to avoid them. I consider it a great joy and privilege to help children grow strong in body, mind, and spirit as we interact, develop good relationships, and have lots of fun!
