I have cared for children & pets for most of my life because I love them both! I was a babysitter as a teen, & a camp counselor. I hold a Master's Degree in Elementary Ed. with an emphasis in Early Childhood, & I taught and cared for children throughout each school day as a first grade teacher for five years and as a K-6 grade teacher in physical education for two years. I have five children of my own, & I worked in & coordinated a church nursery for 2 years. Most recently, I have often taken care of my two grandsons, now ages 6 and 11, & I am teaching 4K in a preschool, as well as doing occasional tutoring. I consider it a great joy and privilege to help children grow strong in body, mind, and spirit as we interact, develop good relationships, and have lots of fun!
