I love working with the elderly! I have been involved in caring for Seniors for 12 years. It all began when my parents were still alive and needing some extra help so that they could remain in their home as long as possible. I learned a lot about independence and the importance in maintaining it for as long as possible. Dignity and respect rode along side independence and my family did our best to carefully uphold those important things. In the passing of both my parents, my interest in caring for the elderly remained strongly in tact. I've had experience addressing many health issues, including Alzheimers/Dimentia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes (Types 1&2) Parkinson's Disease, and Cancer. I am easy going and very easy to communicate and get along with. Iv'e a sense of humor, which is essentially good medicine. The wishes of both family AND the individuals I am caring for are paramount and I take their concerns very seriously.
