I have been working with children for over 20 years. For 11 of those 20 years I have worked in a public school setting, and then went on to open a child day care center within my own home. I have cared for children between the ages of 0 months (newborn) to 16 years over the span of my career. By implementing a fun but organized schedule/structure, I provide for the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of each child. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have had a background check by the State of California in May of 2014 which can be provided by me personally if necessary. Working with pets is no problem, however I have an allergy to cats which can become problematic in regards to my health. Currently, I have completed some college courses in child development, and I am continuing to take classes in this area to expand my knowledge. My personal interests include reading, spending time with my two children, and shopping.

I first met Connie 4 years ago (2017) when my 2yr old son started at the daycare/preschool Connie worked at. Connie was always reliable, professional, and communicated with the parents well. She was seen as a leader and mentor to the teachers and aides at the preschool, often stepping up to train new staff and acted as second in command when the director was away. What made her shine though was her magical ability to bond with the children. She is patient, engaging, fun, organized, and very intuitive about what each child needs. You could tell she came to work because she truly loved the children. She was amazing when we struggled with potty training (I still tell my son "Ms. Connie" taught you how to use the toilet") and stepped up to do virtual one on ones with my son when the COVID pandemic hit and he was preparing for kindergarten. She has gained our family's full trust and respect as a child care provider and a role model for our son. Any family would be lucky to hire Connie.
