About Connie

My name is Connie, and I am a mother of four and a pet owner. I have loved caring for children since I started babysitting at age 12. I spent three years as an assistant with toddlers at a Christian Montessori school, served for many years in my church's childcare ministry, and worked as a lead teacher at several homeschool co-ops. I also have experience caring for the elderly. I was my father's healthcare advocate for three years after a sudden accident, until his passing at age 82. Shortly afterward, my mother was diagnosed with dementia, I became her primary caregiver until she passed. Caring for my parents showed me how complex the body and aging can be, and gave me a deep compassion for the elderly and a commitment to preserving their dignity and respect. Professionally, I have spent 19 years in banking and most recently, one year as an account manager with The Blood Connection. I take my responsibilities seriously. I am a non-smoker and have my own reliable transportation.
