About Connie

Connie took care of our children for almost 7 years, my oldest from when he was only 4 months until age 7 (after school care) and my youngest from 2 days old until age 4 (and is entering TK). She is loving, patient and dependable. We had a lot of rules like no screentime or sugar and she was very good at adapting to our style of parenting, even when we were still figuring it out as new parents and it was frequently changing in the early days. She plays games, reads stories, does crafts and gets down on the floor to engage with the kids. She also does cleaning and cooking, ensuring the kids have healthy meals and snacks. She also has experience with food allergies. The morning we found out my oldest was allergic to peanuts, she came in while we were at the ER and cleaned the whole kitchen and helped us get rid of foods with peanuts so he would return to a safe space. She knows what to look for on food labels and has trained with the practice epipen (although luckily has never had to use it). She is good at teaching the children good manners, how to clean up after themselves, potty training and proper handwashing. She loved our children like her own and we highly recommend her, especially for babies and young children.
