With over 20 years of hands-on experience in elder care, I have dedicated my career to supporting the physical and emotional well-being of seniors. My background includes working in private homes/assisted living facilities/hospice, hospitals where I have managed everything from daily living assistance (ADLs) and medication reminders to specialized support for [Dementia, Alzheimer's, or Mobility issues. post-op I am adept at recognizing subtle changes in health and behavior, ensuring a proactive approach to safety and comfort. I view myself not just as a caregiver, but as an advocate. I am often the "eyes and ears" for family members and medical professionals. My experience has taught me to look for the subtle signs of change-a slight shift in appetite, a change in skin turgor, or a new pattern of confusion-that might indicate a brewing UTI or other medical issues. By catching these signs early, I have frequently helped my clients avoid unnecessary hospitalizations.
