My name is Colleen and I'm a Newborn Care Specialist for newborn babies. While mothers take a break from their precious little ones at night, I step in and help with the feeding, changing of diapers, wash babies bottles and laundry, document baby's patterns, establish a sleep schedule, and whatever else the family needs at that time. I have over 10 years experience and love working with newborns and infants.
I am also a nanny at times when I am not caring for newborns, prep meals for the children, take them to school, classes and play dates.
I also help with light house work and running errands and groceries.

Pat (Colleen) was our night nanny for 7 weeks with our newborn son. We will truly miss her in our lives as she provided expert and gentle care and guidance to our budding family. 

Pat is extremely professional - she wears a mask with the littlest newborns, takes great care with baby, and always shows up on time (or early). Pat knows safe sleeping guidelines as well as the stages of sleep development in newborns. By the time she left us after 5 weeks she had gently guided us through nighttime sleep as well as how to handle naps. She miraculously helped get baby to sleep 5+ hours in a row (and other 3+ with dream feed) by the time she ended her time with us. Magic.

It was hard to find someone to trust with our newborn but we are SO thankful to have found Pat. We rested easy knowing that he was in safe, capable, and kind hands with Pat. We will absolutely hope to work with Pat again with Baby #2 and have recommended her to all of our friends. She is nothing short of a miracle worker.

We worked with Pat as a night nurse for our second child for 4 months, beginning a few days after we brought her home from the hospital. 

Pat was referred to us by a trusted friend who had just finished working with Pat for 4 months with their second child.

We found Pat to be caring, professional (always arrived 10 mins early), courteous, and very good with our daughter. Pat stays awake during the night and helps with light housework when baby is sleeping -- cleaning bottles, kids laundry, emptying dishwasher. She provides detailed text updates with timestamps on sleep, feed, and diaper events.

While Pat has lots of experience with babies and is able to share advice or suggestions if requested, she is also open to following different parenting preferences and requests. While our baby was probably easier than most in terms of sleeping, she was a bit resistant to bottle feeding, but Pat was patient and open to experimenting with different bottles and was the most successful at getting baby to consistently bottle feed nightly. Pat was also extremely flexible with us as we underwent an emergency home repair project during the time we worked together.

We've happily recommended Pat to friends with new babies and do so here too. 


Pat was an extraordinary newborn care specialist! It was our first baby and we were new to everything. Pat made us feel so confident and at ease. She was so punctual, professional, and most importantly, wonderful and nurturing with our son. She always went above and beyond. She never slept on the job, always made good use of her time (including emptying the dishwasher and doing laundry) and always took very thorough notes overnight which she sent me every morning. Toward the end of our time together it almost felt as if she was a mind reader- always proactively doing things I was planning to mention. Having her was totally game-changing and we plan to use her again for any future babies!

We hired Colleen (Pat) as a night nanny for our newborn coming right out of the hospital for the first 3 months of his life. We were very nervous as first time parents about leaving him with someone so early on and Pat surpassed our expectations! She is dependable and professional, as well as very gentle and loving with babies The first thing she does when she arrives is wash her hands and then asks about how the baby has been doing to set a plan for each coming night & week. Pat took excellent care of our baby and gave us tips / answered my questions as I had them. Being a new mom it was so nice to have someone around as experienced with newborns as Pat to help guide me, but never in a pushy or judgmental way. Pat always provided her recommendations if asked, but always wanted me to make the decisions and gave me the confidence to do so! She helped us get him on a schedule and sleeping longer through the night. I would hire her again and highly recommend her to any family!

Received Pat's name from a friend of a friend about 6 weeks after our baby was born. We were really struggling with sleep and hired Pat as a night nanny. She came out to meet us and the baby and talk about the job right away. Pat has years of experience in this role and also children/grandchildren of her own. She was friendly and receptive to our questions. Pat came on time or early every evening and we really appreciated her flexibility in changing nights/swapping dates when we needed it for work or travel. She kept meticulous notes about the evening- feeding, changing, waking etc for our reference. We definitely trust Pat to keep a close eye on our baby and be in our home every night. Colleen worked with us as our night nanny for our newborn son end of November 2021-end of January 2022. She was always punctual, very friendly, flexible and reliable. We really appreciated her overnight care with our 2 month and 4 month old babies while we got some rest. She was responsive and respectful and easy to work with.

Colleen is a breath of fresh air! She is extremely professional, always arrives early, and has taken exceptional care of our newborn son. At the time we hired Colleen, I was recovering from my second C-section and extremely sleep deprived. When you're in this state, you want someone who can instantly make your life easier. And that's exactly what Colleen did. She, first and foremost, provided exceptional care for our newborn son. He unfortunately caught a cold from his toddler sister that left his nose congested for two weeks. Having someone there who we could trust to thoroughly monitor his well-being at such a young age, helped us sleep better at night. She also did helpful things around the house like put dishes and clothes away. I would hire her again without a doubt -- she's a real treasure!

Pat helped with weekend care of my twins for about 6 months since they were 9 months old. My daughter has always been very hard to put to sleep and my son was going through stranger anxiety at that time. Pat did great with both of them, she was a pro at putting my daughter to sleep and she was very patient with my son and gave him space and time to familiarize with her, he would gradually join her as she would initiate some fun play activities. Also thanks to Pat's initiative, the kids got a lot more outdoor time than before. She did a great job of reading to them as well, they would listen to her very attentively. Pat also proactively helped a lot around the house which took off our burden of balancing between kids, work and housework. Pat is very experienced, knowledgeable, trustworthy, caring, workaholic and a fantastic person to work with. I am grateful to her for helping me out amidst the pandemic, and I would highly recommend her.

Colleen (second name is Patricia, Pat) worked with us as a night nanny for 5 weeks. 
Our baby was 2 weeks old when she started. 
Pat has a tdap and Covid vacation and diligently wore a mask during work hours.
Pat is very observant and caring. She works with the baby very gently and caring, changing diapers and clothes, patiently burping the baby and swaddling when needed. She wrote all details in a log notebook: feeding time, diaper info, observed baby nighttime behavior. 
Pat carefully followed our instructions and sometimes provided recommendations when we asked. Pat has broad experience working with newborns.
Pat brought the baby for feeding at night and always checked that I had water next to my bed, and filled the bottle when necessary.
While the baby was sleeping she helped with cleaning baby bottles and pumping parts, kept our kitchen clean and all this she did very quietly at night. 
Overall my baby was in good hands with Pat and I recommend her as a nanny for newborns.

Pat (Colleen) is the best night nanny and one of the best nannies we have had by far. She was amazing with our one year old twin boys, even singing to them to in the morning and reading books to them after they woke up. She also did additional cleaning around the house, which was greatly appreciated. During our time, we specifically requested Pat as our nanny because we had a great relationship and only trusted her with our twin boys. She is punctual, reliable, and a great person to be around.
