I currently work at an adult day program with adults with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. I am a job coach. I accompany the worker to their job site and assist them as needed. I also am very involved with their community integration. The program I work for takes the adults to do different fun things such as the beach, greenfield village, the casino and wherever else they would like to go. I help the individuals be the best they can be and help them work on their goals. I absolutely love what I do . I first fell in love with adults with special needs when I did an internship threw with school with the company I currently work for. I love it so much that I am looking for extra work to do one on one care for more adults. I get off everyday between 3:30 and 4:30 Monday-Friday. I have the weekends free staring in September.
