Colleen cares deeply for children and is dedicated to seeing them thrive. She babysat my two kids for several months when I was working long hours. She was always willing to adapt to my schedule and provide quality care. Colleen is not just a babysitter, but an educator, as well. She was willing to take as much time as she needed to help my children succeed academically. When they struggled, she was always able to identify the source and explain the content to them in a way they understood. She instilled confidence in my children and showed them that they were capable of accomplishing whatever they set their minds to. Colleen is also skilled at helping children navigate the complex emotions of childhood. Many times, when my children were emotional and upset, she was able to soothe them and help them communicate what they were feeling. From there, we were able to identify positive solutions and foster emotional intelligence.
