My background was working in the medical surgical floor in the hospital originally and moved to the Cardiac Care Unit. Met my husband and opened a Family Practice office. Managed the office and opened a weight loss center in the office. It was working in the office that I realized how much I enjoyed caring for the elderly. Over 15 years ago I cared for my father at my home until he passed. It was then that I found it was such a huge privilege to give the best quality care to people at the end of their lives. My father would always say when I said good night " you make me feel like a king every day!" Since then I have had the privilege of taking care of a 101, year old beautiful woman. Others with short term memory loss or dementia. Many people after hip replacements or other procedures to increase their quality of life. Every person I have cared for has been such a blessing in my life.
