About Colleen

I am a mom of 2 adult sons. I have 25 + years experience with all ages and abilities in both the daycare and in home settings. I went to school for medical assisting , worked within a hospital for a few years, and realized I really enjoy helping and growing with families of young children , so I returned to being a nanny. I believe in learning through play, experiences, and reading. I enjoy engaging kiddos in outside adventures, facilitating play dates and outings to encourage socialization, and extend their creativity and problem solving skills through crafts and STEM activities. I help to create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment and I am a healthy combination of structure and flexibility to meld within any family dynamic. I have become a part of some amazing families over the years and now looking to be a supportive extension of your family. I do not have Fri listed as available, we currently take our Grandson one weekend a month, however I am flexible with this!
