About Colleen

I am a caring, compassionate, and very patient person who enjoys caring for seniors because they are full of life experiences and wisdom, and therefore, fun to converse with and spend time with. They offer a unique perspective on life that only comes with having lived a lot of it. I get a great deal in return by having the privilege of getting to know my clients and becoming a small part of their lives. It's important to me to do work that helps others: to assist seniors in maintaining independence to the extent possible and safe, to provide peace of mind to their family members when they can't be present due to the competing demands of careers and families. By taking on some caretaking tasks, I free up time for the families of seniors to enjoy task-free time with their loved ones. My primary goals as a caretaker are to ensure clients' safety and comfort while helping them maintain their independence, autonomy, and dignity.
