About Colleen

Health and Physical Education professional working in Special Education for 7 years, designing curriculum for ages 5 to 21. I'd describe my personality as upbeat, determined and flexible. I like tutoring because I am passionate about education and students making feel comfortable learning new and hard things. I'm looking for a job that is mutually beneficial for the learner and the family. I started tutoring when I began coaching Special Olympics in 2014. In my spare time, I like to volunteer in a fire department, be active outdoors and spend quality time with friends. One thing you should know about me is that I will not give up on your child and am willing to communicate with their teachers as well. My skills include reading comprehension, differentiated instruction and breaking down difficult concepts.
