About Colleen

I am available for babysitting on a "as need basis". I have two grown amazing daughters (one in first year of college and my older one in her masters program) I work FT during the school year as a 2nd grade teacher associate. I am a second grade teacher at a private school. I have been teaching second and third grade for the past three years. I have also been a math tutor for third grade students in our after school math program; which provides extra support to students that need smaller class instruction and one-on-one support. I'd describe my personality as caring, calming, friendly and positive I like tutoring because I enjoy helping and seeing children gaining confidence in themselves and being proud of their accomplishments while also overcoming obstacles and seeing their successes. One thing you should know about me is I am very nurturing and mindful to each student's needs.
