I've had my CNA license for about two years now and have worked at two different nursing homes. I love working with the elderly as well as children with disabilities. However, when working in the nursing home setting I find a lack of time to be able to connect with my residence and truly get to know them. I provide them with the care that I would for my own grandparents. Always respecting their desires and safety. I am hoping to find someone who may need care overnight( or just to be in the home to assist with bathroom trips etc.), or a few hours each day, or a few on the weekends. I'd prefer a long term arrangement as I feel this would increase the individuals trust with me, gain him/her confidence, and provide us with the potential to learn about each other. I'm truly open to anything and look forward to speaking further regarding any possible opportunities!
