As I finished out 34years of pre-school teaching I thought it would be even more rewarding to take over as a geriatric caregiver working at SAL. in the San Fernando Valley, Ca. and taking care of my father who was diagnosed with cancer.. I find caregiving and being a home health specialist change work for SHH and now working at home part time caregiving my 81-year-old's mother , household, chores, shopping errands and a much treasured relationship, a service, I am grateful I can work with my own mother. I am well appreciated. However, children as well bring a sparkle to my eye. In Arizona, I worked five years at the YMCA as a childcare, preschool teacher and at a daycare in Chino Valley.
