About Codi

Aloha, my name is Codi. I'm a mother of two (12 & 10 yr old) and a Montessori preschool teacher. I have my Associates of Arts in Teaching and Liberal Arts and my Bachelors degree in English with extensive coursework in education, early childhood education, child development, and child psychology. I also have 6 years of work experience in a Montessori preschool, Montessori training, and I'm Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified. As a preschool teacher, I have experience working with children ages 3-6 yrs old, but I also work frequently with children ages 7-12 due to being in an open schoolhouse environment. I love working with children, but during my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, sewing, creating art, reading, going to the beach, and dancing hula. As a full time teacher and mother, I prefer to do date night sitting or occasional sitting. I aim to babysit when I don't have my children, but I might have to bring them along.
