I have been working with children and babysitting since I was young. Planning Montessori inspired games and activities is part of my normal practice, and I have always had a good time doing both structured play and free play time with children. My experience is in working with only children, multiple households, daycares, and classrooms. I am a good cook, and am capable of helping with most lower level homework. An internship in a first grade classroom taught me so much, and inspired me to pursue a career in childcare. I have taken courses in ESL, and am preparing for CPR certification. In an effort to continue learning and growing in my understanding of children so I can provide a better environment I am reading books by John Holt, Maria Montessori and other early childhood development specialists, and will be applying what I learn to each child to best meet their needs.
