I babysat throughout my school years, and as a teenager was a long-term nanny to a newborn baby girl that I stayed with until she was seven. I graduated from UCSD with honors in three years, studying global health, psychology and early child development. From there, I spent 4 years as a K-12 educator, honing my skills in patience and adaptability. I'm CPR certified & TrustLine registered. I'm a lucky, hands-on aunt to three newborn nephews and the person my friends trust most with their babies! I love all animals & the outdoors, and fun, brain-stimulating activities! Cléa has cared for our 2-year-old son on several occasions and has always been an incredibly attentive, loving, and intuitive caregiver. As parents, it can be very stressful deciding who to entrust with the care of your child, but with her background in teaching and her genuinely kind nature, she brought so much patience, presence, and creativity to her time with him. We always felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. She kept us updated throughout the day and was thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely engaged. Our son absolutely adores her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family.
