About Claudia

I was born and raised in the country Colombia and as child I was interested in the field of linguistics. I attended the University of La Salle Bogota, recognized nationally and internationally for their high standards of learning in this field. In my background I studied phonetics and phonology (proper pronunciation), morph syntax (grammar, word prefixes and suffixes), semiotic (teaches the meaning of the words), didactic (teaching and learning) in Spanish. My teaching experience started in high school as a teacher's assistant. I was assisting classes of 30+ high school students, in reading and dictation. I was also hired at an elementary school as a teacher. I taught classes in elementary literacy (reading, writing and pronunciation) to 30 children. In addition , I worked as a Spanish Tutor for Northern Virginia Community College and help college students with SPA-101, SPA-102, SPA-201, SPA-202, solving question about grammar, pronunciation and fluency when speaking.
