Hi there, my name is Claudia and I live by downtown Pleasant Hill. I'm CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certified by the Red Cross. I've also taken a few child development classes and I'm fluent in Spanish. I love reading to kids, doing arts & crafts with them, going to local parks and planning fun play dates. 

I have experience with twins, children with disabilities, sick children/parents, divorced parents, WFH parents, you name it, I've done it! I have three dogs so I'm very comfortable around pets. 

Some of the things I've helped with besides child care include: helping families move houses, pack/unpack boxes, organize rooms, grocery shop, empty and fill up the dishwasher, meal prep and dog walking. I also have 3 years of experience with elementary homeschooling.

We love Claudia! My kids and I are very lucky to have her help some days after school and for occasional date nights. We’ve been working with Claudia for a little over 2 years now. She’d always available on short notice which helps since I’m a nurse and my husband often travels for work. Claudia is also very sweet with our doggos. We highly recommend her to all our close family and friends. 

We absolutely love Claudia! She is a great and her experience definitely shows. She worked with us for a couple of months while my husband and I were on a work assignment in the Bay Area and she took our kids to 8 parks around the area. She’s very responsible with our car, as well as keeping receipts for all the outings. We appreciate how professional and flexible she’s been with us. She makes amazing meals for our kids and always plays with our dog while our kids nap, without us asking! She’s been an absolute pleasure to work with. We’ll miss her dearly! 

Claudia is a phenomenal nanny! Her experience shows from the first second you invite her into your home. Not only is she responsible, she is resourceful. I didn't have to "train" her much as she picked everything up so naturally. She was available to nanny for us with one day notice during a chaotic time in our household (while we were moving out) and she immediately connected with our two kids! Not only has she kept our two kids happy and engaged, she helped keep the household organized throughout the packing/moving process without us asking! I highly recommend Claudia. 2 weeks with her was not nearly as long as I wished we could have had her!

We really liked Claudia at first, as the other reviewers said she was great with our kids. However, during time we were hiring her to train her, and getting to know her ,there were a few times where her responses to texts were snarky(as some of the other reviews said)... We still thought the benefits of her care outweighed this, and we were all set for her to start full time. However, literally 4 days!!! before she was supposed to start full time, Claudia ended up leaving us completely in the lurch. I sent her a text asking if she minded if we cut the hours (we were just cutting from 10 hours a day to 9 hours)....but making it clear that if she was set on the 10 hours we would keep that for her ...she sent a fairly curt text back and basically just said goodbye and good luck. It made no sense, as we were just asking if she was ok cutting down an hour, also saying we would leave as if if she wanted. I tried to call and text her to understand and re explain that we would keep the hours she wanted, but got no response....not even to my asking if she would help us for a few weeks until we found someone else. She was fully aware that we had no one else trained to fill the role, as our beloved nanny of over 6 years was leaving for nursing school the day she was supposed to start. Making the situation worse, Claudia was supposed to help with serious medical needs. I also only barely had time to train Claudia (and it was hard)....due to my medical situation so We were fully depending on her, and it was very hard to be in that position....However, our long term nanny correctly pointed out that anyone without the professionalism and kindness to follow through on a serious  4 days left and no one to help...ultimately, is not the right person to "join our family". I feel the way she handled the situation was incredibly unprofessional and unkind, and is a huge red flag. I suppose, as another reviewer said, we dodged a bullet.

My 1.5 year old had a great time with Claudia. We were on a temporary work assignment and Claudia watched my daughter 30-40 hours a week for 7 weeks straight - over the holidays even! Claudia is really easy to work with, takes great care of our daughter, and would even pick up a bit while my daughter was napping. She's a very hard worker and I can't recommend her enough. Claudia has helped my child immensely be himself and happy. I couldn't be happier with her care.

so happy with Claudia! We found her a couple weeks ago extremely last minute and she seriously exceeded our expectations. We are used to having nannies come and watch the kids, but she also cleaned the kitchen, organized our pantry, the fridge and threw out all the old stuff without having to ask. It was a beautiful touch. thank you again!! will continue to hire her when needed.

Claudia took care of my girls this weekend on a very short notice. I had a family emergency and we weren't able to bring the girls with us. I really appreciate how she was able to quickly handle the situation. She came over to our home and engaged my girls in fun activities. When my husband and I returned, they had a homemade Peruvian dinner, they had made cupcakes and my girls were showered and in their Pj's. It was so nice after a stressful day and that's why I'm taking the time to write this review. Thank you so much Claudia.

Great interview. Hours unfortunately did not match but she is very professional. Sent over her resume prior to phone interview, wife and I were very impressed.

Been working with Claudia for a few months now and she's been pretty awesome! I have 2 boys, ages 5 and 8. Claudia has been watching over them on the weekends from 8-12. I work from home, so during the weekend I like to get everything done around the house while my husband is at work, having the kids around just made it so much more difficult for me which is when we decided to look for a nanny during the weekend. It's been really nice having Claudia come and take the kids off my hands for a couple of hours, she always makes the boys a fun breakfast and plans fun activities for the day. I love that she needs very little direction and takes great initiative. My kiddos have truly attached to her! And we will continue to work with her.

We had a scheduled phone call for 11am but she did not answer or message us. I called a couple times and left a voicemail. I was willing to chalk this up to possible phone troubles on her end because why else would someone be over an hour late to an interview? She called back 1 hour and 15 min after our scheduled time. I'm always willing to give second chances because you never know what someone's situation may be. When my wife & I finally did get to talk with Claudia she told us she had an on-call nanny job till 12 so she didn't answer her phone. However, when my wife said "You didn't think to message us and let us know you would be late?" Claudia rudely said, "Do you want to have this interview or not?" We were mind blown at how rude she just was! When my wife explained that she was just trying to assess Claudia's communication techniques for the future, Claudia said with a very snarky tone, "Sorry I don't think this is going to work out." WOW. Should've went with our first impression.

Love that she is very punctual, sweet with the kids, and reliable.

Claudia was an afternoon nanny for us, working every weekday afternoon for a few months.  She has a good energy level, professional demeanor, and was very reliable.  She made sure the kids got lots of outside time, and she had fun ideas for rainy days.  She was also a safe driver and responsible with our car.

She is responsible, great with kids and takes her job seriously. 

If you're looking for someone who is fun, likes to create new games with your kids and leaves your house clean as if you never had any kids to begin with! This girl is the one. We found her on here about 3 years ago, and at first we were a little iffy about hiring her because we have 3 active boys and we thought she was going to be way too young to handle all the responsibilities that came along and we expected her to handle. Oh boy were we surprised! She is very mature for her age, gets things done and handled our boys very well. She takes initiative so you never have to feel awkward asking her for things, which my wife loves. So thankful she was very flexible because more than a couple times we were late coming home from work but she never once complained or arrived late herself. You won't regret leaving your kids with her even though we no longer need her full time, we still keep her for occasional and on call babysitting when my wife and I have to get out of town for work. 

Claudia was a pleasure interviewing today! We set up our appointment at 2pm and though I was scared she might not find our house, she texted me to remind me she was on the way and arrived on time. Met my son and daughter, they were very happy with her. Her personality seemed super humble and sweet. Going over her references after dinner. 

I would suggest staying away from hiring her.  I only emailed with her and never met in person, but her interactions were very snarky and rude.  She commented that I couldn't afford her inflated rate, which is both rude and untrue.  I'm glad I was able to see her personality before mistakenly hiring her.
