About Claudia

Hi there, my name is Claudia and I am an energetic and creative 28-year-old! I have my BA in studio art and have been a passionate child caretaker for 10 years. I have nannied for 5 families with children ages 8 months- 4 years old. My favorite age group are toddlers, but I am happy to work with children of all ages. I am CPR and first aid certified, and have my own car. My focus is on giving your child a safe, kind, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful human. I take inspiration from both Waldorf and Montessori style learning, always prioritizing a respectful parenting approach. I love doing arts and crafts, collaborative cooking and baking, going to the library, and exploring nature. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to paint, spend time in the VMFA sculpture garden, do puzzles, and attend community events. I look forward to meeting you and your little one(s)!
