About Clarissa

I bring over 6 years of experience, including 2 years as a preschool teacher. I'm passionate about nurturing young minds and creating safe, engaging environments where children can thrive. I'm known for being compassionate, relational, and creative. I love getting to know each child's unique personality and interests, and I always aim to build strong, trusting connections with both kids and parents. One of my favorite parts of working with children is incorporating developmentally appropriate learning into play. Whether it's through storytelling, art, games, or sensory activities, I believe play is a powerful tool to help little ones grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively. I have experience with children ages 6 weeks-12 years, including children with special needs. I am CPR, first aid and seizure trained and also have an associates degree focused on early childhood education! I'd love to be a part of your families journey! I am not available until August 18th!
