About Clarissa

Empowering students to find joy in discovery is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a focus on building confidence rather than rote memorization, I help elementary through high school students master English and essential study skills. I adapt my methods by actively listening to how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication about what works best for your unique needs. By connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and encouraging critical thinking, I keep sessions engaging and productive. I value the collaborative trust built between families and myself, as regular updates ensure we are always aligned on your progress. Watching a student's confidence soar as they overcome challenges is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to building a supportive rapport with you so that we can make your learning journey both successful and enjoyable.
