About Clare

I am a college student with a major in Geology. I love math and its application in real life, with a strong passion of sharing my knowledge with others. I am also conversational in Spanish, spending last summer in Spain, adding practicality to my experience. I'd describe my personality as open minded, outgoing, and resourceful. I like tutoring because I enjoy sharing my passion for learning, especially in what others may deem as boring or uninteresting. I'm looking for a job that can meet regularly and respects my time and effort that I pour into my students. I started tutoring when my now best friend asked me for help in our honors trigonometry class in my junior year of high school. One thing you should know about me is I am from Woodland Park and will communicate with you about weather conditions for driving and if that requires our meeting to be online. My skills include simple term explanation, patience for difficulties, and encouragement through the process.
