About Clare

For the past seven years, I've dedicated myself to creating a safe and stimulating environment where children aged newborn to 11 can thrive. Starting off as a camp counselor and growing to be a daycare assistant teacher to being a YMCA before and after school site lead. I've loved working with children every step of the way. I currently hold an associates degree in behavioral psychology. I'm currently in school working on a history bachelors, and plan on getting my masters in special education. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method. I also hold current CPR Training and many New York State training certificates. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I'm comfortable caring for more than one child at a time. I'm eager to bring my experience and dedication to your family, helping your little one learn and grow!
