Empowering students to take ownership of their education is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With four years of experience in teaching, coaching and tutoring, and a graduate degree in Communication, I specialize in English, History, test preparation and study skills. I believe students thrive when they develop a process for approaching learning, so I prioritize building confidence and study skills over rote memorization. I assess individual needs by asking thoughtful questions to understand how students think about their work, and I adapt my methods to match that style. By connecting challenging concepts to your personal interests, I keep sessions engaging and generative. I value clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure we reach our shared goals together!
