About Clara

I am a 20-year-old college student. I have my own transportation and license. I have about 1 year of paid tutoring experience with an 11-year-old boy in the 5th grade who had autism. I tutored him in all subjects, including math, science, social studies, and helped better his hand writing. I was his tutor for about 9 months before I had to move for college. I was able to help him bring his grades from C's and D's to A's and B's and was able to help him make his hand writing legible. I am a native speaker in english and Spanish and can read and write in both. I am willing to teach Spanish or english to any age, but tutor in educational subjects to elementary student for now. I want to gain knowledge in teaching as I'm going into a field with children, so I would like to gain experience in the behavior of different children's personalities.
