About Clara

I have over 12 years of experience caring for children from newborns to pre-teens. I am calm, patient, and well organized, and I enjoy supporting children through their daily routines while keeping them safe, happy, and engaged. I enjoy planning activities like outdoor play, games, puzzles, and creative projects. If screen time is allowed, I choose educational content or family-friendly movies. I respect household rules and follow parents' routines closely. I speak three languages: Portuguese (my first language), English, and Spanish, and I am comfortable teaching and practicing these languages with children. I am originally from Brazil and came to the U. S. in 2018 as an Au Pair. I still work with the same host family and would be happy to share more about my experience. I have two college degrees, current CPR and First Aid certifications, my own car, and I am comfortable with pets. I value clear communication and provide regular updates to parents.
