About Claire

My care giving story began with my two younger brothers. I grew up on a farm and love animals. As I got older, I helped to take care of my brothers as well as helping on the farm. I worked in corporate jobs after high school, then in 2005 I had a beautiful baby girl, and in 2017 I had a handsome boy! For the past 20 years I have dedicated my life to being a caregiver. I have been with a few families and also during that time, I became a Certified Nursing Assistant. This has given me a more detailed education in care giving, including elder care. Through play and learning, kids flourish when they are around other kids. I have done newborn care- including two sets of newborn twins!- all the way up to taking care of teenagers. I have also worked with children with autism and sensory issues. I have also taken care of elderly patients, including macular degeneration, dementia, and language barriers.

Claire watched my two kids last summer, she frequently made them baked goods and took them to the park to play! I loved her attitude, she’s funny and friendly and good with staying in or going out and doing fun things with the kids inside.
