I've been working directly with children since 2009, serving the entire spectrum of ages, ability levels, communication needs, behavioral supports, physical abilities, health needs, and learner types. My experience includes serving students in special education, general education, and recreation programs. I earned my Master's Degree and CA Teaching Credential in Special Education from San Francisco State University in 2018, and have been serving as a Special Education Teacher ever since. My practice is rooted in follow-the-child philosophies... learning what interests children and using their strengths to play, connect, learn, and grow!
