About Claire

I am a natural born care giver. At 11, my sister was born, and from that day on, I was known as mini-mom. I have cared for all ages from baby to senior citizens. As a teen and into my early adulthood, I have taken care of my great grandfather (who is now 94) off and on. I have been an assistant teacher at a Montessori School (working with kiddos age 2-5) and Nature Camp Counselor (6-12 years old). These experiences have given me a chance to practice my natural patience and leadership skills. I have learned how to speak and listen to children, making them feel empowered and respected. Creating an environment in which a child can explore, ask questions and learn is one of my greatest joys.
