About Claire

Hi! I am a music educator with 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. I hold 2 degrees in Music and Psychology, which included coursework in Child Development. Overall, my approach is fun, creative, and friendly. I like providing structure while allowing children to have autonomy over their learning. I enjoy playing musical games, including bringing my own instruments (percussion, guitar, keyboard, recorders) for us to play with! I am happy to schedule time for more formal piano and/or singing lessons, as well. With my experience in classroom management, I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am comfortable with cooking and meal preparation. I have been a vegetarian for the last 15 years, and love to cook and bake. I am also happy with light housekeeping, carpooling, and travel. Witnessing a child's growth in creativity has been my life's greatest joy. I am eager to share my talents and nurturing personality with the right family.
