About Claire

I have 19 years of experience working with kids in an elementary school as a librarian and recently retired. I would like to provide loving care to children (or seniors) in a home setting, either as a nanny or a companion. I have a car and am willing to drive to various activities, help with household chores, do grocery shopping and cooking, and engage the children in creative play or crafts, read books with them, and teach basic of reading skills. I am willing to help with homework and remote learning. I know some Spanish and have taught English as a Second Language on a volunteer basis. For seniors, I have experience being a companion to my elderly mother and friends. I do not have training as an aid. I have my own home so I would not need a live in position. I have received the Covid vaccine and booster. I have had first aid and recently took online First Aid/AED/CPR training. I am scheduled to complete the hands on portion in mid July. I have all my clearances.
