About Claire

Hi there! I'm Claire- a dedicated caregiver and educator with over 5 years of experience in childcare, youth development, and special education. I offer nannying and special ed support for youth. I bring a grounded, affirming approach to every relationship I build. My background includes 2 years working in special education, several years as an outdoor educator, and 1 year nannying a toddler. I've worked across a wide age range (1. 5 to 19 yrs), diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and communication needs. Currently, I'm studying neurophysiology as it relates to ASD/neurodivergence while training as a postpartum doula . I've completed additional training in trauma-informed and asset-based youth development. I work from a socio-emotional learning frame that centers relationship, empowerment and self-advocacy.
