About Claire

Hi there! I love everything music, but especially with band and orchestras. A little about my experience with music. I was extremely involved with band since middle school. I was in all of the district bands as a clarinet player and made first chair my two last years in high school. I also made All-State band two separate years. I played clarinet in an extra orchestra, played with my schools orchestra when needed and played in our school play orchestras. I learned saxophone just so I could play in the jazz band. I did marching band in high school and college and was section leader. In regards to my experience with private lessons. I took private lessons once a week for seven years, so I understand how they work. My senior year of high school I gave private lessons to three middle school students. Being a section leader also gave me experience with teaching and instruction. I helped out with my schools middle school in working one on one with their clarinets.
