About Claire

My name is Claire, and I am currently in college studying to become a teacher! I love working with kids, and I am passionate about ensuring children have an environment where they feel safe emotionally and physically as they grow. I'd describe my personality as passionate, creative, and loyal. I like working with kids because they understand the joys in life! I can still remember all the little things each day I looked forward to as a kid, and I love getting to be a part of those exciting activities and moments. I started working with kids when I became an older cousin for the first time at 13- all throughout high school I would watch my cousins on weekends, and over the last year and a half I've worked with a new family 3-5 days a week. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with friends and family, and find new music. My skills include problem solving, finding age appropriate entertainment/activities, and keeping a structured schedule.
