I gave weekly care to my grandfather after he had a stroke. I am experienced in conversing with individuals who exhibit dementia symptoms or have been diagnosed with dementia. I have worked as a waitress at a retirement home for 3 years now, as I don't solely care for the residents, It has still granted me experience in helping and working for the elderly. As of now, I help out my grandmother weekly with chores and tasks she cannot complete on her own. This includes grocery shopping, going to the library, returning things to stores, cleaning, moving furniture, gardening, and sorting through closets! I find a lot of joy in being around this wise group of people and will gladly be open to any weekly or biweekly care I can give!
