About Claira

I've worked in a memory care unit aiding with showers, feeding, transporting, and personal care. My minor in college was in Gerontology, so I feel very comfortable caring for older adults. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and fun. I like caring for seniors because they deserve it! There's so much to learn from them, and aging is a hard thing to experience. I want them to feel dignified during these years. I started caring for seniors when I was a teenager and helped care for my aging grandfather with dementia. I then worked in a home professionally and made it part of my college degree. In my spare time, I like to hike, craft, bake, and spend time with my husband. One thing you should know about me is I'm a hard worker. I treat seniors with respect and am detail oriented. My skills include working with seniors who have memory issues, housework, and encouraging participation in activities.
